Envisioned by artist Anna Valentina Murch as a canyon that had been carved by water flows, the project features curvilinear sedimentary walls.  The walls of poured stratified concrete contains different densities of sand and fine washed stone and pyrite. Embedded stainless steel lines of the seat are cantilevered over the ground plane and cast shadows at different timed of the day.  The sedimentary walls also act as the tree wells.  This public space sits over a parking garage structure.

The front entry and porte cochere paving features alternating bands of white seeded aggregate and green seeded aggregate as well as black silica carbide seeded bands and 3" wide stone inlays.
